concept
toru, naoko and reiko are in different locations in life;
physically, but also regarding their mental state.
naoko is closer to death, toru to life and reiko in an
in-between. the dots represent their positions in life
(physically) and in their heads.

refering to anywhere outside the Ami hostel, in particular Tokyo.
the first time Toru leaves the Ami hostel after visiting Reiko
and Naoko he mentions ‘the outside world’ as well.

the book, each location has a quote and coordinates
assigned to it.
